The field of allergology has seen significant advancements, and this “pequeño gran libro” is the 2001 publication of the first allergy guide for residents and primary care. This guide is written in an easy-to-understand and straightforward style with a practical focus, specifically for Alergología’s medical residents in their first few years of training. The main pathologies that will be discussed in the consultation are reviewed, ranging from the easiest to the most difficult, and many of the chapters point toward a precise medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. Mention, for instance, the developments in food allergies or the use of biological medications to treat various allergy diseases.
